Servers should have made their first communion and usually commit to some training before being able to assist at mass. Ascent Group A prayer and social group for senior members of the parish. Come in for a cup of tea, a friendly chat and prayer and reflection, after the Monday 10:00am mass in the parish room The Legion of Mary The junior legion meets every Sunday after the 9:15am mass in the small hall. The senior members meet every Tuesday at 7:00pm in the parish room. Praise and Worship Group Meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday in the parish room at 7:30pm. RCIA Group Is for those who are interested in becoming a Catholic, and those who have not made their first communion or confirmation. Deacon Vincent leads the sessions along with the help of some of the Catechists from the parish. Come relax, have a cup of tea and plenty of biscuits, and explore the richness of your faith. The group meets every Wednesdays from about 7:30pm. St Vincent de Paul Society(SVP) The SVP is a part of an international lay Christian voluntary organisation actively working with the poor, disadvantaged and marginalised in more than a hundred countries. It seeks to respond to the call every Christian receives to bring the love of Christ to those it serves in the spirit of the Gospel message. The SVP at St Mary's meets every 2nd and 4th Sunday at 3.30pm in the Resource Centre. The meeting usually lasts about one hour.
